Just thought I'd update this, as it's 2am, I'm bored and not spelling correctly due to tiredness, aaaand I'm home from uni ._.

Yup, whole first year completed! \o/ Was a lot of fun and hard work, and I've managed to get one step closer to that elusive 'unique, personal style'. People keep asking me if I feel weird though, and I ... don't O_o Should I? I guess it's just all the hectic moving around, I suppose *shrugs*

Anyway, moving on. What else has happened ... oh! Of course, the London MCM Expo! What a fantastic day, met so many great old and new nakama, had a go at a booksigning (hahaahahahahah that was interesting!), got asked for lots of photos from lovestruck, confused Howl fans ... yeah, a brilliant day. I also bought a ton of One Piece merch (including an art book after which this journal is named because I was just reading it ._.) without overspending for a change - result ^_~

Going back to the booksigning thing, I'm not mocking it or anything; it was only through the hard work of the publisher that we were even there in the first place, so thanks Willie of ITCH Publishing; however, I had to laugh at how few people stopped by the table, even though we were in a PRIME spot!

I know what it was. There were too many of us there, and we intimidated any passers by with our awesomeness. We were just oozing 'bishie/bishoujo artists, come see'. Yup, that must have been it. <_< >_>

But now it's over, and May is coming to an end ... I'll be picking up my portfolio from uni on Monday, and then my summer officially begins :3 I'm already working on a bunch of narrative ideas I've been storing up until now ... some for competitions (zomg Jiman 09) and some for longer, more challenging projects *taps nose* I also have the possibility of getting some freelance work (!?!?!?!!?) with a local graphics/illustration company, IF they like my portfolio ... we'll see.

Either way, I'm keeping myself veeery busy ;3 (But not so much that I miss the latest chapter of Bakuman/One Piece or episode of FMA Brotherhood!)

Now bugger off, I'm bound to update this again before I reach my 19th year next month -_-; So get on with your far more exciting lives while I hole myself up in my room again ;3
