*Ahem* Haven't updated in a little while, and I completely forgot to comment on the expo ... well, it was pretty awesome. I got lots of home grown comics of fantastic quality, and a bunch of One Piece figurines that have certainly brought a new atmosphere to my room XD (Sadly, no Bon Clay figurine yet ...) Cosplayed Howl again, wig failed, got slobbered on by the bastard Alien cosplayer ... oh, and met up with my Manga Shakespeare and Sweatdrop heroes/friends again ^_^ I love seeing you guys! >w< Thanks for signing my copies of MOV/MAAN/TN!

Anyway, I've been majorly snowed under by work again ._. Plus the projects carried over from summer I now have new uni projects, essays, and lots of December competitions to work on >_< My to do list is begging for a break haha.

My favourite project at the moment is a 12 page graphic novel though ///*_*/// Best project I've had set for uni so far. It's been quite the learning experience, as I've suddenly had a 'how to draw hands' epiphany so every hand I draw now just seems ... perfect! O_o And the backgrounds are more ambitious (seeing as the project itself is to do with the building I study in ) but they're not a hindrance ... they're really bringing life to the narrative. I haven't tried anything amazingly different with the panelling or anything, but I'm more focused on pacing the narrative well than anything else. (Well, that, and making sure I don't leave any fuel for the 'manga haters' around the pages... eheh).

The only thing is it's textless, so I have to convey quite a surreal story with actions alone, which is challenging but fun ^_^ I'm also thinking of adding dialogue after I've submitted it to uni, so that I can then submit it for the Kodansha Competition.

So yeah, busy busy busy o_o Hence the alienated status. I only leave the flat for classes or food or more books these days XD My friends must get sick of repeating 'are you sure you're alright'? Hahahaha. Ah whoops, I've lapsed into 'non-art' conversation. SHH DON'T MENTION THE REAL WORLD >A<
